The Callahan's

Matt and Kristen Callahan first met at church when they were in elementary school.  They had the privilege of growing up together and started dating when they were only 13 and 15 years old. They have now been married for 19 years.  Matt has worked for the Gwinnett County Fire Department now for over 20 years and has also been an ordained pastor for 17 years. Kristen has been an elementary school teacher for 17 years and taught public school, virtual school, private school, hybrid school, homeschool, and everything in between.

Kayleigh is our adopted "gift baby" as we call her.  She was born on Thanksgiving day, November 26, 2009.  She was friendly and loving and joyful and just pure light to be around.  She LOVED animals and her friends.  Those were by far her two passions.  She also had a very strong faith in the Lord and is currently worshiping in his presence for eternity.

Jaxon is our "miracle baby." He was born on June 16, 2011, a month early, while we were at a youth beach camp in Jekyll Island. He is funny and passionate and loyal.  He has been doing martial arts for almost 8 years now and is a second degree black belt. He in on an a competition team and competes in individual events at tournaments throughout the year.

Walker is our adopted "surprise baby."  We thought our family was complete until 2020 when God gave us the opportunity to adopted another precious baby into our family.  He was definitely the missing piece we didn't know we needed.  But God did and he was born on June 30, 2020.  He loves dinosaurs and plays baseball.  He is such a joy to be around and always keeps us laughing with the things that come out of his sweet little mouth.
